Café De Sluyswacht is one of the cutest spots on the famous canals of Amsterdam. The little building is standing on its own and that is the reason – because of lack of support – why it is leaning over even more than the tower of Pisa. Built in 1695 it was meant to be the home of the sluice master, but nowadays it is a pub with an authentic old Amsterdam character, from which the first floor and the back-terrace is available to rent for parties, graduations, promotions etc…
